The pinnacle of certification. A qualification that proves you can undertake long passages anywhere in any weather. Our 5 day prep course gets you ready for the 2 day practical examination which is conducted by an independent examiner. We provide the yacht and organise the Exam. Examination costs vary as they are dependent on the number of candidates. |
| Prior experience required: |
| At least 2500 miles, of which 50% must have been completed in tidal waters, 50 night hours and 5 passengers over 65 miles as Skipper. Plus: First Aid qualification and SRC (VHF Radio) licence. Navigation skills to RYA Yachtmaster shore-based certificate level. |
